The Community Development Independent Living Center is a
Non-Profit Corporation as defined and regulated by
La. R.S. 12:201, et seq, and Section 501 (c)(3)
This corporation is organized solely and exclusively for
charitable purposes. "Community Development Independent
Living Center" is organized for the relief of the distressed,
lessening neighborhood tensions and securing services,
conditions, social or otherwise, conducive to the progress and
general welfare of the community by:
- (1) Providing community awareness;
- (2) Providing transitional housing to women who are facing
economic hardships;
- (3) Assisting these women with transitioning back into
mainstream society; and
- (4) Creating jobs.
It is our mission, our goal and our supreme joy to ensure that life
with us is as vibrant as true "Dawning of a New Day."
Independent Living Center is a place of community, comfort and
adventure.
